Who handles your information

This privacy notice applies to kingscasino.es, an independent information portal about Kings. We are not the operator of the platform itself – that company runs its own service under its own privacy terms. What follows covers only the data collected and processed by this portal when you visit our pages, submit a contact form, or interact with our content.

kingscasino.es is the data controller for any personal information gathered through this site. Questions about how we handle your data should be sent to [email protected].

What we collect

The information we gather falls into two groups: data you provide directly, and data recorded automatically when you browse.

Information you give us includes anything submitted through our contact form – typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We collect this only when you choose to reach out.

Technical information collected automatically includes your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages visited on our site, time spent on each page, and the date and time of your visit. This data comes from server logs and cookies, and it helps us understand how the portal is used and where we can improve it.

Why we process your data

We use the information above for a handful of specific purposes, each tied to a lawful basis under UK data protection law.

Contact-form submissions are processed under legitimate interest – you've written to us with a question or comment, and replying is the reason the form exists. Technical data such as page views and session duration is processed under the same basis: we need to know how the site performs and where visitors encounter problems, so we can fix them.

Analytics data – aggregated counts of visitors, popular pages, traffic sources – relies on consent, which you grant or withhold through the cookie banner when you first arrive. Marketing cookies, if we use them, follow the same rule: consent first, tracking second. You can withdraw that consent at any time by adjusting your browser settings or revisiting the banner.

Lawful basis

UK GDPR requires every piece of processing to rest on one of six lawful grounds. Ours are:

Where we rely on consent, you control it. Withdrawing permission stops the processing immediately, though it won't undo what happened before you withdrew.

Who else sees it

We share personal data with a small number of third parties, each serving a defined technical purpose.

Hosting provider: the server infrastructure that delivers this site stores the files, logs and any form submissions you send. That provider processes data on our behalf, under a contract that limits what they can do with it.

Analytics services (such as Google Analytics, if enabled) receive anonymised or pseudonymised usage data – page views, session lengths, approximate location derived from your IP address. These services help us understand aggregate behaviour; they do not identify you personally.

Advertising networks may place cookies if you consent to marketing purposes. Those networks operate under their own privacy policies, and you should review them separately if you're concerned about how ad tech companies use data.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. No mailing list is compiled from contact-form submissions, and no email address is passed to a third party for promotional use without your explicit, separate permission.

Your rights under UK GDPR

The Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR together give you eight principal rights over personal data we hold. Here's what each one means in practice.

Right of access: you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with information about why we have it, who we share it with, and how long we'll keep it. This is commonly called a subject access request, and we'll respond within one month.

Right to rectification: if any information we hold is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it. This matters most for contact details – a wrong email address means you won't receive a reply.

Right to erasure: also known as the right to be forgotten. You can request deletion of your personal data when there's no compelling reason for us to keep it – for instance, if you withdraw consent and consent was the only lawful basis, or if the data is no longer necessary for the purpose we collected it.

Right to restriction: in certain situations you can ask us to stop processing your data (but not delete it). This applies if you've challenged the accuracy of the data and we're verifying it, or if you need us to hold it for a legal claim even though we no longer require it ourselves.

Right to data portability: where processing is based on consent or contract, and carried out by automated means, you can request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format – and ask us to transmit it directly to another controller, where technically feasible.

Right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interest, or to direct marketing at any time. Once you object to marketing, we must stop – no exceptions. For other legitimate-interest processing, we'll stop unless we can show compelling grounds that override your interests.

Rights related to automated decision-making: UK GDPR restricts decisions made solely by automated means, with no human involvement, that produce legal or similarly significant effects. This portal does not use automated decision-making of that kind.

Right to withdraw consent: where consent is the lawful basis, you can withdraw it whenever you like. Withdrawal doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew, but it stops the processing going forward.

How to exercise your rights

Send any request to [email protected]. Include enough detail for us to identify you and understand what you're asking for – "delete my data" without a name or email address is hard to action. We'll respond within one month, though complex requests may take up to three months with an explanation of the delay.

If you're not satisfied with our response, or you believe we've breached data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's supervisory authority for data protection. Visit ico.org.uk for guidance on how to raise a concern.

Protection of minors

This site concerns gambling services, which are restricted to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 (18+). If we become aware that we hold data belonging to a minor, we will delete it without undue delay.

Parents and guardians should supervise internet use by children in their care. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and remove it.

How long we keep your data

Contact-form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your query, then archived or deleted. Server logs are kept for security and troubleshooting purposes, typically for 12 months, after which they're purged. Analytics data is anonymised and aggregated; once it no longer identifies an individual session, retention limits no longer apply in the same way.

If you've exercised the right to erasure, we'll delete the data within one month unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it longer – for instance, if it's needed for an ongoing complaint or regulatory inquiry.

Changes to this notice

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. When we do, the revised version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will be highlighted at the top of the notice for a reasonable period.

Check back periodically if you want to stay informed. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Contact

For questions about this privacy policy, or to exercise any of the rights described above, write to [email protected]. We aim to respond within 48 hours for general inquiries, and within one month for formal subject access or erasure requests.
